Sorry guys, not sure how I overlooked this one :knothead: , thanks for the PM Chad
The reason it's not here anymore is because I wrote a similar article for TBM that's about to come out. When it was accepted, I took the article away from here until it was published, as a courtesy to TBM.
I'll be happy to ask any questions though...fire away guys....
Guru, thanks for the response....
I look forward to seeing the article in TBM....
My main question is how do you attach the string to the arrow using the velcro.... and why do you do it that way?
Also have you ever had the line hang up when shooting?
thanks Doug.....
Doug, Take the end of the string and double up about 4" and tie an overhand not to make a loop about 2"'s. Then slip the string through the tied loop and cinch it down into the velcro(hook part).I usually wrap a couple times too(with the rotation of the fletch).
I don't know of another good way to attach it to a wood arrow...I used this for carbons last year too.
I've never had a shot effected by the string.Unit works well.....
OK, Curt.... just what i needed to know...
I've taken two birds with my longbow from a DB blind.. the first Tom didn't go far but the second did.... I did manage to catch up with him and get him (it took a second arrow)....
This year I am using my recurve and want to try the string tracker.... so my thanks for your help.
You're welcome Doug...
