Title: riser

well i have a post on pow wow..its called omg...well if the company wont stand by there product has anyone ever fitted limbs to a riser of there own making..or is there any plans out there never attempted a project like this..i am a carpenter so i just need the right direction

Yes I have. Just make your own 2 x 2 x however long you want and have at it. A buddy just did one with 3 sections, curly walnut on the outsides and osage inside. Looks very sharp.

A friend of mine made a riser for a set of Martin Hatfield limbs. He used the old riser as a template for angles etc.

now can i use a single piece of wood or do i need to do a laminate

browning and york archery used one piece risers
on there compounds in the 80's

You can use a single piece of wood.
This is curly walnut and osage.
