Title: recomendations needed for serving material
Post by: tradsniper on June 04, 2010, 11:26:00 PM
I'm going to start making my own strings and I know I need to use b50 since the tips on my bows aren't reinforced but I dont know what type of serving material I should use. Im mainly going to be making 12 strand strings if that helps.
Any recomendations would be really appreciated

I would look at 62 serving and .022.  I have some .025 I use for 10 strand, and even some .030 halo I use for 6-8strand.

I recommend buying whatever serving is on sale, then you can get some dental floss from your bathroom to make the serving fit your nocks perfectly.
