The next are of a Holmgard, maple board bow. It is 70" 43#@28".1 3/4" wide at the fade. I want to make up a shorter one of these next,about 64", and 50#@28" and see how it goes.

very nice! the color on that holmegard is awesome. shouldnt have too many problems getting a 64" one as long as you tiller it right, i am finishing up a 60" red oak board bow right now, never thought id be able to build one this short but it pulled through, 45#@26" and roughly 50#@ 28" bend through handle. ive built 65" board bows without too much trouble too. good luck
Thanks, the maple is so white in natural form I tried some "Caberet" color stain, and it is diferent. Not sure If I will use it again though.Just got tired of all the brown shades.
