The beauty of those two woods, and it's simplicity, create an elegant appearance to that riser. Your son should cherish that gift.
1 millimeter = 0.0393700787 inches
Just in case anyone on this side of the pond had that question.
good looking Bow, what weight will you be making the limbs ??
Mike
That's a nice lookin' riser you got there Moen. Isn't it great when you have something you can share with your kids ?

Now i`m waiting for good (dry) weather, so I can shape the limbs out in the backyard. It's snowing here today and i HATE snow and dust from fiberglass
Last time I made one with inserts, I used Devcon 2 ton epoxy which was available at the local discount store, (W___mart). I still had to be careful not to fill up the bottom of the hole with excess.
Guys here recommended it.
Good Luck Mike
That looks fast!
Nice job,bet he will love it!
more pics! more pics! more pics!

Just kidding. That looks like a bow that's after my own heart.
Hi, its me, slowmo:) I missed my target BIG TIME, and the bow weight in on 79# I will try sand it down (sides) to 65#, but I'm not sure if it works well, but I'll give it a try. More pics tomorrow. I have a real job too.. ;)
