Title: osage bow staves
Post by: Aram Barsch on April 20, 2010, 02:25:00 PM
Hi folks, I'm scheduled to teach a self bow making class for Boulder Outdoor Survival School in mid May. My source for staves has fallen through, so I need to find ten nice straight Osage staves with good growth rings (beginer quality) that are well seasoned.
I need them in a hurry, does anyone have a great source for wood that they would be willing to share with me?
Thanks a bunch, Aram.

I would suggest Mike also. He's bringing 300 to the Tenn Classic!

Yep, is was at the classic last year. I couldn't get all his staves in one picture so this was about 2/3 of what he brought.
