Title: selfbow shelf tips and pics

one more question for you guys and i'll leave you alone, i would like to build a shelf for my selfbow, probably out of deer antler and then wrap the handle, what tips do you guys have for size, shape, placement ect.... also any pics of yours would be helpful

The glued on rest in this picture has about an inch of wood glued on under the leather. I feather the wood out so it won't have a big lump showing in the handle leather. Leaving the lump is unsightly as well as uncomfortable for your bow hand.
