Has anyone here built a self bow or a board bow out of zebra wood? If so how did it turn out?
I have built a couple of risers that were laminated with Maple and one set of limb veneers with Zebra but no self or board bows.I have used Zebra quite a bit in the past with othet cabinet projects and my opinion would be that it is to prone to grain fractures and splits to use for such an application.You may get different opinions on this but i think most that have worked with Zebra would agree.
