Herman, that's a cool looking bow ! And apparently she's a nice shooter to. Great job !
Do you have any information about how much stack, how wide and what kind  wood you used ?

the limbs are white ash, the riser is blacknut.
i´ve used .040 black glass, one .090 002 taper lam and one .090 parallel. the total stack is - guess what - .260. the limbs are 1,5" wide (i used the bingham drawweight chart for a 1.75" limb, but my own form instead of a bingham, so it comes out with about 75# instead of 55. i narrowed the limbs to 1.5 so it comes to 65# after tiller and finish)

it was a lucky first try i think. she has nearly no handshock, smooth draw, and alot of energy. but you have to hit your target. if you don´t there ist a high percentage for destroyed arrows.

I know what you mean about the higher arrow loss. The draw weight of the recurve I did recently is 48@28 but I noticed an increased loss rate. And after I got used to it and the arrows came closer again I got this one here...

That is a very nice looking bow, looks like the limbs are opening up just right.  You must be a strong man it appears you handle the weight just fine.

its the "dumb mans luck" i think. i could not believe it when i shot through the chrony. and the first few shots on my target went all too high.
