Title: wood tip overlays?

If u have 2 phenolic tip overlays underneath a wood tip overlay can u shot that bow with a fast flight string? Laminated bow.

Certainly, as long as the grooves are designed properly.  They should form an even, tear dropped shape with no corners for the string to bend around.

what is the general standard for tip build ups if using fast flight?

47pronghorn i use layers of phenolic and have shot all kinds of fast flight strings on my bows and have had no problems

I use 1 .040 glass and 1 .060 wood and have no problems with any fast flight string. Bob

I use 1/4 overall.2 diffrent colors 1/8 phenolic.Also can use 1/8 actionwood under 1/8 phenolic.
