Title: Delta Drum Sanders
Post by: White Oak on February 20, 2010, 11:37:00 PM
Does anyone have any experience with Delta drum sanders? I have some older Delta equipment in my shop that I wouldn't part with. I don't believe the newer stuff is what it used to be.Got a chance to pick up a 16/32 used and local. I have been leaning more to a Jet or Performax.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ed

Bought an 18X36 last year and have had no trouble with it.

I use one - i would never get rid of it. The only thing i have issues with it getting hte fed belt to track right as the belt moves so slow it doesn't show up quickly. But other then that i have never had an issue with it and have cut 1000's of lams on it, surfaced staves, risers etc...

Thanks for the info. I've been trying to find one for some time. So far this is the best that has come along. I'll see it tomorrow night.
