Title: limb poundage reduction

I have read nearly every post in here and must say I cant find the words to describe the wealth of knowledge in here,so heres my question....I have a bw pma3  52lbs@27"   I tore my rotator cuff and I need these limbs to be 42lbs @27",and cant afford a new set of limbs,is it possible to have the poundage reduced to 42 lbs by somebody,and if so,names and nmbers please.

I dont think you can go that far. I have read of guys using wedges to change the limb angle. Any thoughts on that out there.

I agree that is too much on a recurve.

BW will sometimes do 5 pounds if none was taken off during the building. They have records on each bow build.

Have you looked on the BW web site to see if someone would want to trade ?
