Check out any auto parts store in your area. That is where I find it when I need it.   Jimmy Hartzel

Ran all over today and struck out at the home improvement, auto and hardware stores.  I will have to call up some hoppy shops or order on line I guess.  I will check and see where the closest RC Hobbies is located.

I called around and no luck.  Is this stuff just Loctite's standard fast set super glue?  From on-line info it sounds like it is just basic quick set liquid super glue.

Is this just standard loctite super glue or does it really say 420 very obviously on the front?  If it says 420 on the front of the package it is a rare bird around here.  If it is standard Loctite super glue then a lot of places have it.

The stuff I buy has 420 in big obvious numbers on it.
It's a jell,not their standard super glue.
If It becomes a "real" issue, drop me a PM an I'll send you a couple of tubes.

It Has 420 in bold print as earthdog said. It is tuff to find around here also. I use some of the stuff from johnsons workbench. They have one in Grand Rapids or chartucky. ANY high quality CA glue will be as good. Most CA glue (cheap) will work for most projects, it just depends on what you want to use it for.
I have found loctite 420 at some off the wall places like electrical supply store. industrial supply store. some hardware stores. GRIANGER. MSC. Production tool supply.
Good luck

I will keep looking.

The stuff I want needs to penetrate deep into a fine crack.  It is not a jell according to what I was told and the product info on line.

I am trying to glue a crack in a riser.  I have one shot at it so I don't want to use the wrong stuff.
