Title: restoring 1955 bear kodiak
Post by: ishi1archer on January 22, 2010, 11:25:00 AM
Hi I just picked up a 1955 kodiak that is missing tip overlays. Any idea where I can get the materials to replace them? Also should these old bows be broken in before shooting and if so how.? Thanks

I have a source for black and white Phenolic which I've used on several Bear bows. I should be able to get you enough to do two tips. No charge. Here's what it looks like finished.
