OK, I put rawhide on a new recurve I'm making. I have a few air bubbles and wanting how to fix them with taking it off.

Hypodermic syringe with water based glue like TB. Moisten the area of the rawhide, pressure till dry.

Even a small slit with a sharp razor and a bit of glue and pressure.
