Where can I buy a farriers rasp?
get ahold of Kasey on here, he may be getting more. Kasey is his name and screen name
Any farriers will have used ones that they might give you or a feed and seed store should have them.
The one I have was used when it was given to me and that was probably 10 to 15 years ago and it will still take the hide off my knuckle. d;^)
Thanks guys
Howard I got one from farm and fleet in Morton a while back.
Just about any farm and ranch supply store will have em for around 20 bucks. Don't know how good a new one is but I get used ones from our farrier and even those will take the wood off in a hurry
Thanks Brad I bought a new one at Farm & Feet today.
Your going to be amazed at the amount of wood that baby can take off in a stroke.
I was a farrier for about 5 years and I can tell from personal experience the a horse farriers rasp will do some eating especially on knuckles.
I got scars to prove it, LOL.
So I should be able to find one at a farm supply store?
Beat me to it! I was going to say Farm and Fleet.
Sticks-n-Strings, I can relate! Especially when you're holding something with one hand and rasping with the other, eh? I started wearing and old leather glove while reducing a stave.
