Here are a couple pictures of my first glass bow (for myself). The riser is walnut with some maple and ipe accents. It is 1/8 from centercut but I would cut it to center if possible, is it?
5.25" grip circumference
1" thickness at site window
2" wide site window (back to belly)
Bow is 55# at my 30" draw.
Thanks for looking (If I can post these pictures!)
Scott

I like it!! Good lookin bow for sure!
 Good job, I like the slim profile.
Nice job. Like your handle design.
sweet!
Very nice Scott. It looks great...how long did the riser end up being?
Scott that is one fine looking bow. Bet it is going to shoot very well.
Very nice Scott- that riser came out nice- I can see why you wanted to use it.
Good looking bow,very nice. :clapper:
Great bow! Nice Work! If the total width of the riser at the rest is 1" then I am not sure you should go to center. I understand that your site window wood is .625" right now? The riser is laminated which should strengthen it but .500" thick is getting thin. Maybe someone else goes that thin and can assure you but I think you are wise to stay where you are at 1/8" before center.
Excellent job Scott!!!! I have cut mine to center which left .700" at thinnest part of sight window. My total riser thickness is 1.400".
Good job!
Brad, sorry that I haven't answered you already. The riser ended up at 15" and the limbs were designed to make it a 66" bow with a 17" riser.
It is 64" and on my cheapo bow scale it reads 55#@30" which was literally the exact weight that I was praying for!
I deviated slightly from the Bingham's plans but even so, I can't get over how well this bow shoots. I know, I know, even parents of ugly kids think that their baby should win beauty contests, so maybe I'm guilty of that...
I used two parallel maple lams in each limb and altered the limb pocket angle slightly. It is more quiet than many bows that I've previously owned and shoots pretty darn quick although I have nothing to relate the arrow speed to. If I ever get around a chrono I will send some downrange to see what it is capable of doing at 28" -- I draw 30".
Thats a great looking bow bud. keep it up.
Shawn
