Is mulberry lamb or riserwood hard to find? I have access to alot of trees right now and wondered if its worth while, Mark
I love mulberry,if you don't want it I'll take espically any branches with extreme bends in them.It is a really light and tough wood and is prized for making the sahiyas(tips) for asian composite recurves.
Its not that I dont want it, I brought it home with my tractor In big pieces for firewood if it dont have much worth. If you need branches with bends Ill go take a look. It will be the day after tomorrow. Ill let you know if I find something that fits your discription.
If you can get good size staves out of it,go for it as they make good bows as well as lams, its also a great wood for furniture.
