Title: Amount of recurve - lam bows
Post by: ibehiking on December 14, 2009, 10:03:00 PM
I have several laminated recurves and notice quite a bit of difference in the amount of recurve length on the limb on the bows. Some have a bare minimum of string contact, while one has almost 8 inches of curved limb. What is the impact of the amount of recurve?

i'm not an expert but i believe the more curve in the limb the greater the performance.

however, i do believe this also can make the bow less forgiving and noisier
