My buddy has a son who is a huge fan of Uncle Ted! Not many 20year olds rockin out to the Nuge these days I figure!
So he asked if I could make him a tribute longbow in the true Nuge style of zebra stripes that he could give his son for Xmas. Not a problem! The wenge and curly maple riser made it seem like it should have a name so the Wengo Tango is born!

I think there is going to be a pretty happy guy in town in a few weeks! Got some shield cut grey barred feathers on order to make him some arrows to complete the package too!
That is so cool. Did you buy the lams like that?
Beautiful bow, Uncle Ted would be proud, I know your son will be.
That looks great!...so how did you get that zebra under the glass?
Very nice, really cool looking bow!
How did you do the pattern?
Really cool!!
Saw it on AT. Very beautiful bow. Would like to know how you do the stripes though... very interesting. Love the riser.
SaaaaaaaaaaWeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeT !!!!!
Just toooooooooooo Cool !!!
Since this is totally in the prototype stage, right now I only think it looks cool. Have only shot about 60 arrows through it....shoots quite good! If it holds up through further testing, then I'll have something to be proud of.
If it doesn't.....He'll be happy even if it's just a wall-hanger.....right next to the autographed poster! lol
that is totally awsome!
Ted is proud. Why not get some of the Gold Tip Nugent arrows to with it too?
Pretty cool! String needs to go though. Definately need a black and white flemish twist. I have a friend that makes my wool silencers. He can alternate black, white, black for you if you want. They are the bomb and would match quite nicely. Nice work, Chad
OH YEAH!! :saywhat: The MotorCity MadMan Would Love IT!!! :help: And Ze Price Would Be??? :archer:
Priceless!! :clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
You're right on with that Chad. That was on old string I had around....my string maker is a bit behind right now. It's coming though!
That right there is awesome. I am sitting here watching Uncle Ted while looking at this awesome bow. I would like to know how you got the stripes.
I LOVE this bow! I'm a hughe Nugget fan
Big jims got some 55/75 Nugent snow camo blems to match that great looking bow bow you built.

That's a great bow for a nugent fan...How did you accomplish the veneers like that? Great job!
Ok, how did you do the nugent stripes?
That bow is sweet!
Awesome looking!!
Sweet looking bow!!! How did you get those stripes in the limbs???? Do you have a website or flyer or something about your bows?
