Title: My newest hunting bow.
Post by: DVSHUNTER on November 28, 2009, 01:17:00 PM
I have just about finished this bow and am going out to hunt with it for the last half of the season.  It shoot fairly quick at 157 fps with a 615 grain arrow.  It had a sister bow that was being built by my friend, but his didn't make it.  Very miminimal hand shock and great cast.  60 inches nock to nock.  braced at 6 1/6 in.  I have some copperhead skins that I am going to put on after bow season.  Then I am going to add the leather handle that I wanted.

After being shot in a bit , it has settled in at 60 lbs.  I think that it is done settling now after close to 200 shots.

Nothing deadlier than a selfbow over 60lbs! Keep us posted when you get one on the ground, you should have no problem.
