Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I made this bow two weekends ago and just started putting the finish on it before I left for school. Its a maple holmegaard 67" ntn, about 50#@28". The handle is 8" long. Fades taper from 2 1/4" to 1 1/2" @ mid limb. Then the stiff tips eiffel tower to 3/8". Unbraced set at about 3/4" settling to 0". Limbs were heat treated to about a 1/2" of reflex and tips heat treated to stiffen for reduced mass. Blood tip overlays. I'm really happy with how this bow came out but I think I could have made more sacrifices in mass to the outer limbs. The next one will have more narrow tips and more reduced mass at mid limb. Tiller looks slightly uneven at full draw but a little adjustment in the nocking point on the string will fix that. I'm still not sure which limb will be the top one. Its a pretty fast shooter with the arrows I have and shoots extremely straight for reasons I don't understand. Thanks for looking.

Happiest of Thanksgivings to you and your family also.
Thanks guys. I just got back from GanderMtn and shot it a couple times through the chronograph. Highest I was able to get was 168 but the average was more like 162. Thanks for looking.

Sweet bow, I really like your smooth holmgaard transition from wide mid limb to narrow tips, one of the nicest ones I've seen, impressive numbers too. Congratulations on an excellent job. Kirk
Nice job Ryan..nice job on the tips too!

Well that bow looks just as good here as the other place that I saw it...

Thanks a lot guys. These are certainly fun bows to build.
I love maple! Beautiful bow. Is if from a stave or a board?
A board sir. Thanks for looking. :)
Nice job, young man! That's a good lookin' weapon!
Fine looking bow!
I've made a couple of oak pyramid bows and decided to have a go at something similar.
Purpleheart tip overlays and home-made Flemish twist string.

I'll likely re wrap the handle, but other than that I'm fairly happy with it.
I'm now working on a couple of take-down recurves. Risers are done. I'm going to try steam bent oak and glass for the limbs
beautiful work son.
