Title: How do you measure your LB limbs
Post by: SOLDIERII on November 18, 2009, 07:24:00 PM
I am working on my second lam bow and would like to hear some input for limb dimensions. My bow will have an 18" riser and will be 64"s long. It will be a medium D/R and I am shooting for 55lbs. Lam thickness will be .350 and I was going to start my cut at the fades and a 5/8" knock. Can I get some advice? Thanks Mark

Hey Mark,

I start my side taper just past the fades,by the time sanding is over,it is right there tho.

Nock starts at 5/8" limb width at nock groove, and is usually closer to 1/2" after tillering/tweaking.

Remember,we like pics!  :)

Thanks Kenny, I am the same guy who just purchased the osage lams from you. I'll submit pics when I finish. Thanks again
