Title: I am wanting to make my first board bow.
Post by: Tyler Langston on November 10, 2009, 09:43:00 PM
I am 16 and i have a shop class which i am wanting to make a board bow. I would like to make it out of red oak. I would like the draw weight to be around 50-60 pounds and the draw lenght to be around 26-28 inches.
Thanks,
   Tyler

Tyler, Check out George's site like AkDan suggests. Lots of very useful info for a beginner. When you get started, post pics of your progress and ask lots of questions.  We will help you get an "A" in shop and stir interest in archery among your friends.

Awesome build along, sulphur.  I got up to 16 and could not find a part 17, but I'll check again later.  Several people have asked me to do a build along for youtube, but now there's no point.  I'll just direct them to yours.
