I'm getting ready to glue on some dall sheep tip overlays on my BBO. I have some Superglue gel and some other high strength clear epoxy (some walmart stuff). Which should I use? Or should I order some Urac?
I've used all 3 and they have all worked fine. I have recently started using 5 min. 2 ton epoxy from walmart. But like i said all of it will work i just prefer the epoxy now. Hope this helps!

Thanks, Adam. Does the epoxy sand well?
The times i have used it it has. I usually wipe off all the extra as soon as i clamp it just to keep from having to sand so much.
Any of those glues will work for overlays. I use gel super glue mostly.
super glue has held for me when others havent.
I use CA and Locktite SuperAttak, Precision, for all my bows. Warbows @130# to childrens bow @10#... And never had failure!
I use regular superglue.

I have always used Loctite superglue gel in the blue squeeze bottle for adding horn overlays. No failures. Here I am installing horn tips on the St. Judes bow from 06.

Thanks guys. I'm going to use the Loctite Superglue gel in the blue bottle. I'll post up some pics tomorrow.
As a precaution and to remove any existing oils, I always soak any animal headgear in acetone before installing.

I like gel superglue with the accelerator. Can start sanding in short order!
Glue them on, go have a sammich, then go to work on them. That Loctite gel will be done by then.
p.s. a razor blade makes a good scraper when smoothing and blending horn tips.
