Well after a lot of reading here, a couple books, and a class taught by Ryan and Pat O'sullivan I finally made my first bow. It's an osage bow 42# @ 28" and 64" long. My target was 45# so not bad. It came off at 44# and lost 2 lbs. after shooting it in. I used a brown beaver tail for the grip and rest and brown leather dye to stain it. Also notice the cool knot/hole on the bottom limb near the tip. There's a lot of stuff I need to improve upon and a lot of fine finish details I have to learn and develop the patience for but I had so much fun I had to make a new work bench for all the future ones I plan to make.
