lams:
bandsaw, thickness sander

risers:  spindle sander!! anglegrinder with sanding disk (I use 40grit, really digs through wood, making it easy to fully shape a riser in a minute or even less...)

and ofcourse, for any shaping, the beltsander! go for raw POWER on this one  ;)

ofcourse a chainsawfile for nocks, a few files for the fineshaping of tips and risers, sanding paper...

haha you'll need an axe, a rasp, and a chainsawfile. Welcome to the world of PRIMITIVE bowmaking. No glass, powertools, or fastflight strings allowed  :)

One tool you can make is a lamination saw buy a skill saw used or new and turn it upside down and buils a wood box and mount it upside down and wire the blade gard back and buy a soft metal fiber cutting blade and install it will save you tons in band saw blades when cutting the limbs just leave the line then sand to perfections we have used this trick for many years .                   Piper'Bowtuff

One of the tools I use the most is the least expensive. It is a rigid oscillating sander. It is a combination spindle sander small belt sander.  This sander along with a band saw will get the job done. You can buy your lams from Kenny.
