Title: take down question
Post by: stretch2 on August 09, 2009, 06:33:00 PM
i have been wanting to make a take down bow i was wondering what is the cheapest way to do it. i know you can buy the sleaves from three rivers but is there a cheaper way that anyone has used. what are your thoughts? i love the way a lam take down longbow looks but i am almost certain i dont have enough money to make one. what is the average cost on a lam bow?

If you have access to the form and oven materials run about 100.00 to 150.00 depending on your choice of materials.

If you go look at any metal supply place, you can find one tube or pipe that fits inside another.  It works best if the inner sleeve is brass.
