Title: Will It Ever Shoot?
Post by: Boswell on May 20, 2009, 12:53:00 AM
A fellow Tradganger and I have this stave that we have been tinkering with for a while off and on. Were are looking to get a shoot through bow out of it. What do you think? Will it make it?We still got to go down about 9 rings to get to a good ring.

I think it will because you left enough wood around the knot hole.  But it looks as if that knot hole is your handle area from the picture and will make a very big grip area.

Heck yeh, there is definetly a bow in there. Finding it might be the problem. I would try to leave the hole and tell people it is a fancy sight.
