Just finished killing this small sow I took this afternoon. Was hunting a local Florida WMA that allows hogs to be taken during small game season.
She weighed 35lbs but will eat just fine...plus she is my first hog with a stick bow.
Equipment used was a Bear Kodiak Magnum 55@28" 2018 XX75 with a 150 Woodsman head.

Cool, go back in a couple months and get her brothers/sister that weigh about 60-70 pounds.
Good shooting! The smaller ones are a real challenge-the vitals are tiny.
Congrats and Nice Shooting. MMMMMMM Thats gonna taste GOOOOOOD. LOL
I should say that it was 35lbs field dressed :D
Glenn, Thats a Sweet looking bow.
Nice work and tender meat! :campfire:
Brent
Big Ron it is a pretty sweet bow. At 52" long it is a good bow for the stand or for stalking as in this case.
It is a Gainesville era Bear and sure will make an arrow fly. I bought it from a fellow Tradganger just during December.
I thought she looked like a shorty. Very Nice.
Congrats! That's a perfect hog! Great first stick kill!
taht size and maybe a little bit bigger is the only size I hunt for anymore. I had it tring to get big pigs out :)
that whole thing will fit in my water smoker and when it comes out ya can just pull the bones right of the meat....outstanding :)

Yummy, thatll eat real gooood.Congrats, good shooting.
Way to go Glenn, Congrats!!

I'm going back to the area this weekend to see if I can get a bigger one. I saw some turds in there the size of my leg and tree rubs that were to my chest.
Might have to bring more arrows though...

Glenn, I BBQ'd one a like that for a buddy a couple years ago. Whole hog on the grill, indirect heat, good oak fire and let it smoke slow all day. Then have yourself a good pig pickin.
