Title: Flatbow is essentially finished...
Post by: Dick in Seattle on January 21, 2009, 07:50:00 PM
OK, guys... it's essentially done.   I filled the gap and decided to go with the poly finish.  I took 9 pretty good pix of it with the finish on.  It'll get more coats, and a laced wrap, but what you can see now is really a finished bow.    I posted today's stuff on my bulletin board.   I'll move it to the Beginning Bowyer's Log later.  Once the finish is finished and the wrap on, I'll do new bow pix for the major boards, but you guys are certainly entitled to an early peek.    Here's the link:

PS:  Any day you finish your first solo bow and make a dozen arrows for it (I fletched up a batch of 1516's) is a damn good day!
