Title: Little bushcraft style - G10 and 420HC
Post by: bjansen on January 23, 2018, 01:49:00 PM
Here is a 420HC blade I had roughed out and HT a couple years ago and it sat in my drawer ever since.  On Saturday, my son asked if he could learn how to make knife - a good opportunity to finish this quick and simple one before his attention span gave up.

He drilled all the holes for the scales before I lost his attention and we talked about how not to "blow out" a hole drilling in the material and then I finished this up practicing some hollow grinding.

Looks like a handy little field/utility knife.

I'm a fan of smaller knives, that one looks like a perfect every day work knife. I applaud you for involving your son!
