Here's a hunter I made using stabilized pine cone for the handle for the first time. The blade is 5" of CPM35vn stainless.

Love the knife, but that handle is gorgeous!

Very cool. Great functional blade design and a great looking handle. I've wanted to put pine cone on a knife handle for some time, might just have to do it after seeing this one.
Wow nice knife.
Thanks guys. I have two more that I'll post as soon as I take some pics.
Caley, I got the pine cone scales from Jantz if that helps.
What the Hell is a stabilized pine cone? I may not know what it is, but it sure looks good!
Sam,
Pine cone that's been injected with a resin under pressure to make it resistant to water, oil, and hold it together. They stabilize wood in the same manner.
That's neat!
Very nice work!
Thanks, Brad.
Very Nice
