Darcy, this is one nice looking knife. I like everything about this one.
Nice Darcy, we're headed home from HI onTue. After a couple weeks off I'm looking fwd to getting back n the shop again.
Thanks guys.
Doug, did you do any hunting or just soak up some sun on the beach? I always wanted to go there and spend a bit of time hiking the ridges with bow in hand after pigs and goats.
Darcy :campfire:
Love that one, Darcy.
Stunning. Unbelievable what talent u guys have.
That's just awesome! I really like the way you leave the scale at the top of the blade, that's my kind of knife! Great job, good to see your knives on here again.
Thanks guys.......but, I'm more excited to hear about Doug's adventures in Hawaii! :smileystooges: :D
Darcy
That is a looker. You always turn out the nice ones Darcy.
Yes...photos of Doug sporting Bermuda shorts and longbow would definitely be appreciated...extra points if he has a a bowie on his hip. :biglaugh:

Looking at that photo of your knife laying on that wool sweater made me think that any Scotsman would be proud to have that knife in his sock. :archer:
Thanks again guys.
I finished the sheath. I left the welt natural so there was no chance of leather dye staining the ivory.......sort of made a cool looking contrast in my opinion.

That's great looking and yes I agree, the contrast with the un-stained welt looks great. Just curious, what stain did you use on the other parts of the sheath?
Just Fiebings alcohol base medium brown. The lining leather is black bikers type garment leather.
Darcy
Beautiful!
Very nice. I'd prefer my sheaths to have that contrast, so unique.
Very nice package. I may steal that idea for the undyed welt. ;) Very cool looking.
Thanks guys.
Steal away Matt, I probably stole it from someone else anyway  :D
