Just started watching the Ulfberht documentary from NatGeo. Really cool!

that was quite a documentary.  I enjoyed it last year when it was available...didn't realize they were replaying it.

yea, Ric is always there with helpful hints and feedback on Don Foggs Bladesmiths forum....and quite a bit of humor too.

I loved how much detail they showed in the Wootz making process (crucible steel).

Using crucible steel is the selfbow form of knife making!! As trad as you can get
