A friend asked me to make her a knife for her husband. She only had one request, and that was for me to utilize a portion of antler of first mule deer that her dad had shot. Although it was not a very big one, he had kept it for sentimental reasons. He has since passed, and his one and only daughter thought it would be great to have a knife made out of it as a gift to her husband, and she hopes it would be passed to their young son when he becomes of age. Since antler was too small to make the scales, I opted for a full tang knife with antler and stabilized buckeye combo.

That is beautiful and the story is one that has so much meaning. I like the way you used it in the knife too. Curved just right.
Nice package. Sometimes you see a knife with beautiful wood or stag, nice blade shape, but the pieces just don't flow together. Sure not the case on this one!
