I am to build a 'club knife' for 2015 Montana Knife Maker's Association Show. My proposal was a 4.0" blade length Tapered Tang Integral Hilt Utility Hunter carved out of a 1/2" thick bar of D2 tool steel. This knife is sort of a 'practice' knife to make sure I still had the wherewithal to do a decent job. 3 3/4" blade length - 8 1/2" overall. Spalted Oregon myrtle with red G10 accent and buckeye burl cap (just a tad bit of turquoise inlace added). Rockwell hardness of 61C
