Title: Another small Hatchet
Post by: Lin Rhea on September 04, 2014, 10:10:00 AM
I just finished this small hatchet. I left the cheeks pointed similar to the New England style hatchets from the 19th century. In fact the steel bit that I welded into the cutting edge is 19th century buggy spring steel. The body is folded mild steel. Handle: 12 inches

Quit it Lin. You're going to push me into ordering something else I can't afford   :)

I love it!  One of your hatchets is on my bucket list.  They not only look great, but all seem to have a backstory that kicks it up a notch. Keep 'em coming, Lin.  :)
