Title: Damascus and snakewood just finished
Post by: Track on June 16, 2014, 01:31:00 PM
Here's one I just finished. Snakewood handle with brushed stainless bolster. I think the bolster is calling for some scroll work. Blade is 4 3/4" and the knife is 9 1/4" overall.

Here's the file work on the back.

Yeah, something as dramatic as that needs some nice inked scroll work on the bolsters.

Looks good. I agree that big bolster could use a bit of scratching. Looks fine as is, but lots of room for a bit of embellishment.

Thanks Darcy. I'll only mess it up if I try it, so I better leave it as is:0)
