A nice camp/utility for my table in Atlanta.
Big enough to split kindling and small enough to dress a rabbit. Well, maybe a big rabbit. :D
A differentially hardened Cru-V camp knife with stainless take-down fittings and a stabilized California Walnut handle.
Full length crested spine.
This blade is hand-rubbed, and if you know the challenges all those Vanadium carbides offer, well, then........

Very nice Karl!
That is textbook Andersen Forge workmanship. I like it.
Very nice! Why the crested spine? Looks or function?
Coolness. :shaka:

good one, Karl! I hope I get to hold it a week from Friday cause I don't think it's going to be on the table for long!
I somehow missed this when you first posted it. Looks outstanding. By the way, if the post I saw from a mutual friend on the book of faces was accurate, we shared a birthday yesterday. So happy birthday a day late.
Matt Toms
Matt - yes -yesterday was my birthday. Same back to you.
I was playing around with some photography yesterday and just love how this knife photographs with natural background material.
Must be the walnut.

It's too bad that someone with as many birthdays as us aren't as photogenic as this knife. :campfire: I really like it.
Must be where our inner beauty goes - into our knives.
'Cause it sure as hell ain't in the mirror.

I don't know about you guys but I look awesome. :D Maybe that's why I build sub par knives.
