Title: Small Hunter in W2 and Blackwood

A couple of years ago I saved a photo of a similar knife made by Lin Rhea and have been waiting for the right time to try my version. I learned a lot from this build and it has been one of my most rewarding of recent knives. The blade is 3.25" with an overall 7.5" length. The fluted spacers are nickel silver with a notched bronze spacer and pin. The handle is one of the most beautifully figured pieces of African blackwood that I have ever seen. This will be on my table at an upcoming Texas show in April. Thanks for looking.

I like it! You did a great job on it especially the spacer arrangement and domed pin.

Very nice. Seems like blackwood is the handle of choice this week. I hope to be posting one with a blackwood handle myself in a few days.
I prefer small blades to be guardless, especially when they look as good as this one.

Very nice work Gabe. Really like the way all of the pieces make the whole knife work. Thanks for sharing.

That's awesome.  I love the look the stacked spacer arrangement gives it.  This is the second gaurdless hidden tang knife I've seen on here this month.  I've got a little hunter blade forged ground and heat treated and I've been trying to decide how I want to dress it out.  I might have to jump on the band wagon here and add a third gaurdless blade to the mix.

That is a outstanding knife!

Looks sleak and very comfy in the hand, very appealing.
