I just finished up another one of my Northwest specials. These are my version of the Loveless classic NYS.
This one has a 14c28n Blade, and classic maroon linen micarta. The blade has stonewashed bevels and polished edges. The pins are carbon fiber and it has a copper lanyard tube. This is the first one I have done that is hollow ground on my 12" wheel. It has a fine edge and should be a keen little cutter.
Comment and critiques are welcome.
Thanks for looking!

oooh... nice.
Thanks Matt!
Oh yea, I agree, nice and nice photography too.
We need a drool smiley! I really like that maroon linen.

Very nice Ben. I am especially fond of the micarta. Though I have never worked with the maroon it is on my list of favorite. Thanks for sharing.

I really like this knife Ben. And the photography is well done.
Once again an outstanding knife Ben. There are many Great, Great knife crafters on TG that have been a ton of help to me and I love seeing them all but your work is my biggest inspiration. You just make knives that catch my eye every time! I hope to one day be posting one of yours in Lin's, "what's in your collection" thread.
Thank you for sharing.
Bob
Ben,
That is really nice!
That's a great knife Ben. Love the hollow grind and the fact that you call it the Northwest Special.
Hit another one out of the park Ben...not to mention great pairing with the SP with Hornady Critical Defense
God Bless, Pierre
Thanks very much for all of the kind words and comments guys!
These are a deceptively complex little knife, but the ergonomics are just out of sight. Bob loveless had a real keen eye for design, especially in his handles.
Bobby, that means a lot, thanks!
Pierre, good eye. The Sp101 is just such a well built little pistol, and those Hornadys are my favorite carry ammo.
Wow I love that knife!
