Oh how purty she'll be after a little clean up. ;) Got this box of goddies back from Culpeppers today. :shaka: Just gotta get time to work some of this in.
This is my first time having my own horn died, how long till this stuff dries out a little Lin?

some real nice ones in there for sure! Is it Sambar or Red Stag?
Gonna be Purdy cool to use antler from Montana in your knives Doug.
Can't wait to see them all finished.
Looks like all elk to me and will make wonderful knife handles .the dark with the polished white when sanded and buffed.
Caution there could be work involved in this project :)
Use it any time you're ready. It will stain your hands when you first get started and as you get to sanding or buffing it will stop. I have some dyed a year or more ago and still gets my hands brown when I handle it. It's worth it though.
It's part elk and part red stag.
Thanks Lin, right now it's literally wet. Think I'll wait just a bit and will sure be using the neo gloves.
And as it usually says in fine print at the bottom of the TV ad, "Some assembly required".
Doug, what color did you request? is this the "amber" dye that will leave the polished areas an amber(what else?) color, or will it be darker?
