Title: A traditional folder
Post by: Frenchymanny on December 03, 2013, 04:42:00 PM
This year was all work and no play almost for me.
I rewarded myself with a traditional pastor knife from France, made on my specs:
Osage handle, arrow head mechanism, yatagan style blade (close to the Spanish navaja)

Blade is 3 3/4 long carbone steel, handle is 4", osage scales, mecanism and spring are stainless

The blade is mirror polished, \\I cut lemons yesterday, no patina yet

I'm happy with this little guy

I really like it. Great file work. I am a big fan of the French designs and this is no exception.

Charlie, you will!
This knife is in my pocket all the time, with a Case trapper that is surgically sharp.
