Title: Twisty & Curly
Post by: Doug Campbell on August 13, 2013, 04:15:00 PM
Just got this photo of the last knife I finished before the busy summer season hit. That's a tightly twisted 4 1/2" Damascus blade and guard with some very nice stabilized curly Koa I brought home from HI.

Thanks for looking

That's fantastic Doug! I really like the skinny guard on this one, and the Koa is off the hook!

Outstanding as always.  I just finished up a set of koa knives.  One of my favorite woods to work with.  I'm a little jealous that you got to bring yours back with you and I just got to order mine.

Very nice Doug!

I am working on a similar profiled blade and size, I had thought my handle may be a bit long, after seeing your knife I feel better about my project.

I like the guard too!

Knives just don't get any nicer than that one, Doug. Nothing about it I don't love.

I would say that knife has it all! The "it" factor is maxed out, really like everything about it   :notworthy:

What are the spec's?
