Title: Big Curly Maple & W2 Camp Chopper
Post by: Lamey on May 10, 2013, 09:56:00 AM
Curly Maple & W2 Camp Chopper.  10-1/4"l x 2"w blade,  15-1/2" overall.  Forged from W2 round bar, differentially heat treated using clay with active hamon.  Got to put a few more coats of finish on the Curly Maple over the next few days.

Any how, some quick pics,

Very nice work and I'll wager that blade is thin enough you could do a lot of cutting without beating yourself up.
