Been cramming to get caught up,(aint gonna make it) before a little trip to CA, (for work) and the upcoming busy season here on the Ranch. This Hunter headed to the new owner today. I forged it from more of the Meteorite Damascus I've been playing with. 4 1/2" blade, Meteorite Dam guard, Bighorn Sheep with peened SS pins. Thanks and hope you like it.

That's a sweet one for sure.
From my reading I understand the Dyak headhunters of Borneo also used metorite material in their forging.
Very nice Doug. Some very nice sheep horn also. Thanks for sharing.

OMG.
Very nice. I like the way you pinned the handle scales.
Beautiful knife, sir! Really enjoyed your gallery pics!
That's classy as all get-out. Very nice fit and finish work. That baby will hunt! :)
Very nice. That sheep horn is perfect.......and I really like how slim your finger guard is. Quite a few hunters in this style are made with a very chunky finger guard. You nailed it in my opinion.

Beautiful, love that horn.A perfect hunter.
Thanks guys, it's always nice when they come together just like you wanted...
If that doesn't have my address on it (not that you have it....) I'mma be pissed!
Beautiful knife Doug!
Doug, I am happy you did not bring that one to the house or I would have been in trouble with the wife. Beautiful knife as usual.
Really nice work. Great looking handle.
That sheet horn is an eye catcher. Nice work!
Excellent Doug! Sure wish it was headed to my house...
Nice one Doug!
Really like the sheep horn scales!
Shoot straight, Shinken

I can't remember ever seeing a knife of yours I didn't love, and this one stole my heart immediately -- love at first sight. I agree with all the complimentary comments from others.
As an aside, Tom Brokaw returned here to Oklahoma City for a speaking engagement a few days ago. I hated to miss it, but had more pressing matters that required my presence. He's a heck of a guy! And he knows how to surround himself with high quality folks too!!!!
