Title: Old Knife Revisited
Post by: tippit on March 11, 2013, 05:08:00 PM
This is my son-in-law's knife.  It was the original Beer Blade knife but it looked like cow manure with a ragged para-cord handle of at least 3 years, rusty from plenty of beers, and a thick edge before I knew any better.  I re-ground it and added a Cocobolo handle.  Just a little face lift.  Also nice to see that some of my early knives are still in use..tippit

I totally understand "from plenty of beers". Looks like it is ready for a few more beers....uh years.
Very nice revisit.

Jeff, your talent is special. I have a second one of your works heading my way after Scott does his magic  wrapping a little leather around it. We're going to miss you in bear camp this year, now somebody else has to kill a slammer bear!
