Title: Leather sheath is scratching my knife handle
Post by: collofthewild on December 27, 2012, 01:02:00 PM
I hope this post is ok.

I received an amazing knife this past Christmas and I have a problem. The knife has beautiful stacked leather handles, when I sheath the knife, the sheath has extremely rough leather on the inside and it scratches and frays the leather handle. What can I do to stop this from happening?

Would leather conditioner applied on the inside like Montana pitch blend remedy this?

Could put some duct tape inside the sheath.  Works fine on one of mine.
