Title: Banksia Pod & Twist EDC
Post by: skullworks on October 02, 2012, 05:47:00 PM
Here is one I made for my brother. Blade is 1095 and 15N20 nickel damascus in a beautiful twist pattern by Grand Leavitt. Handle is stabilized Banksia Pod with pearl red acrylic fill in the seed pods. These weren't book matched so I decided to spruce the center line up with white G10 liners on either side and gray liner in the center. Did decorative brass pins through the handle. Guard is nickel silver. Blade is 2-3/4" cutting edge. OAL is 7-3/4". Turned out pretty good...the one pin that is a little out of sync with the others bugs me.

That looks really cool! The handle kind of looks like a brook trout to me.
